My connection to Mexico
I was born and raised in Mexico. It’s my home and the place that shaped me. Even though I’m studying in the U.S. now, my heart is still connected to my country. I love my culture, my language, and the strength of the people I grew up around.
Geography
Something I learned recently is that Mexico sits on top of three tectonic plates. That’s why it has so many volcanoes and earthquakes. One of the most famous volcanoes is Popocatépetl, and it’s still active. The mountains, valleys, and coastal areas are all part of what makes the land so diverse.

God’s Connection
When I look at the land, the skies, and the oceans of Mexico, I feel closer to God. The Earth is too perfect to be random. As Alma said in the scriptures, everything, from the motion of the planets to the beauty of the Earth, shows us that there is a Creator. The way nature works in balance shows the hand of someone much greater than us.
